As serious practitioners of both yoga and tango you can enjoy either of our classes or mix the two synergistically as we do...

Class Details

* Yoga  - Our vinyasa (flow) classes will have an extended warmup where we connect deeply to our breath and wake up the body gently and then will move into a smooth and challenging asana series. The entire body will be opened up for increased strength, flexibility and balance. Each class will have different parts of the body emphasized to challenge those areas and to open ourselves to getting past any perceived limits. This can have a direct impact on other areas of your life. We use the breath (pranayama) and asana (physical positions) to allow you to discover this non-physical awareness (psychological, emotional, spiritual) for yourself.

** Deep Basics - the level for this class is from beginners to intermediates and above who want to refine their technique
- Increased physical self awareness and partner awareness (specific drills)
- Learning to move from your true center at all times (not as easy you might think)
- Increased musical awareness and connecting it immediately to your technique development
- How to use your entire body (emphasis on the spine and your foot rolling into the floor) correctly for better balance and to remove tensions in the
   embrace with your partner.
- Some Tango Essential movements - the tango walk, using dissociation in your upper and lower body, correct pivoting for circular movements (the ocho,
   gyro, and single axis movements like the boleo), the cross step (its permutations, the internal X feeling) and more.

***Vinyasatango Group Class (Yoga and Tango combination class)
- beginner to advanced - the first 70 minutes we will prepare the body with specifc vinyasa yoga asanas and pranayama beneficial for argentine tango and neuvo movements (yoga practitioners who aren't interested in tango -- yet :) -- will still enjoy this class. The next hour we will apply our increased body awareness from our yoga to a particular movement or combination of movements in our tango. Each class will have a different theme and the level of the technique will be tailored to the abilities of the students in the class. 20chf for one class, 35chf if you take both ; 10chf per class for students
